Kendall Louise was founded with a vision to redefine the narrative surrounding women’s fashion. The goal is to inspire women to confidently wear their favorite outfits, regardless of the occasion.

Drawing inspiration from interior design, favorite movies, and timeless patterns, these ideas were transformed into reality, creating our first collection of women’s shoes at Kendall Louise.

Where It Began

"If there’s one thing people have always told me they notice about me, it’s that I’m happy — and for that, I consider myself incredibly lucky.

And, to be honest, my “secret” has always been pretty simple: finding the little things that fuel my confidence, and letting myself soak them in as often as possible.

When I was young, I used to think, “I can’t wait to be 26.” I don’t know why that number stuck, but to me it meant freedom — the freedom to wear high heels, red lipstick, and big sunglasses every day if I wanted to.

To me, these things weren’t just accessories, they were fuel. Fuel that I could access on any given day to spark confidence, and at 26 years old, who was going to tell me I couldn’t?

Where It Led

When I finally reached that age, I started noticing something: so many people save their fuel, the things that make them truly feel good— for life’s “big moments.”

But why should confidence be reserved for special occasions?

When I started designing shoes, it wasn’t because I thought I knew more about shoe design than anyone else. It was because I understood that feeling — the spark, the shift, the quiet confidence that changes how you carry yourself when you have the right tools, and I believe that feeling is meant to be felt every day.

And so, I created fuel of my own, for you, to use as often as your heart desires, and I call it Kendall Louise."

Every Shoe Has a Story

When I started designing this collection, I knew I wanted each pair of shoes to carry a deeper meaning—something personal, a nod to the moments, people, and places that inspire me. Each style is named after a specific memory, milestone, or source of joy in my life.

For example, 'This One's For the Girls' was inspired by my bridesmaids—the women who stood by my side on one of the most important days of my life.

Every shoe in the collection tells a story like this.

The Meaning

Why the Ruby

The Ruby was inspired by my childhood love for ruby slippers—I think I owned about 10 pairs growing up! They sparked my passion for shoes and marked the beginning of my journey toward creating Kendall Louise. This style is a nod to the joy and magic shoes have always brought me, and I hope The Ruby brings a little of that magic to you too.

Why the Abigail

The Abigail is named after my sister, a constant source of inspiration in my life. She embodies strength, kindness, and a quiet confidence that I’ve always looked up to. Her unwavering belief in me has been a guiding light throughout my journey, and this design is my way of honoring her. The Abigail isn’t just a shoe—it’s a celebration of her spirit and the profound impact she’s had on who I am today.

Here’s to all of the wonderful sisters out there, whose love and support shape us in ways we’ll never forget.

Why the Louise

The name Kendall Louise is a tribute to a friendship as timeless as the shoes themselves.

The Louise celebrates the friends who make every step of the journey a little more special. Classic, elegant, and unforgettable — just like the moments and people who stand the test of time.

This one is for all of the "Louise’s" in our lives.

Why the Goodman

The Goodman is named after my maiden name, a reflection of where I come from and the values that shaped me. It’s a tribute to my roots, my family, and the foundation that gave me the courage to pursue my dreams. The Goodman represents strength, legacy, and the pride I carry in my name—a reminder that every step forward is built on the steps that came before.

Why This One’s For The Girls

This style was designed for my bridesmaids to wear on my wedding day, as a way to honor all of the incredible women who have been by my side through it all. Every step in This One’s For the Girls is a celebration of the love, laughter, and unwavering support that represent all the friendships that shape us every day.

Why the Flynn

The Flynn was my wedding shoe, designed to carry me through one of the most meaningful days of my life. It’s a tribute to my married name and the love and partnership that welcomed me into the Flynn family. This design embodies new beginnings, timeless elegance, and the joy of stepping into the future with confidence and love.

Why the Thimbles

The Thimbles, one of our signature shoe styles, is named after the Thimble Islands in Branford, CT—a place that holds a special place in my heart. Growing up in New England, so many of my favorite moments were spent on the water, boating with family and friends. The Thimble Islands are where countless memories of laughter and joy were made, and this shoe is a tribute to those carefree days and the timeless charm of coastal living.
